Cooked ham should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 40°F (4°C) or below:

  • Refrigeration
Cooked ham can be kept in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. To prevent moisture loss and bacteria growth, store ham in an airtight container or vacuum-sealed bag. You can also place the ham on a lower shelf or in a specific meat drawer to maintain a consistent temperature and prevent cross-contamination.

Freezing
Cooked ham can be frozen for 1 to 2 months. To freeze ham, you can:

  • Wrap the ham tightly in aluminum foil, plastic wrap, or freezer paper.
  • Place the ham in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag.
  • Squeeze out as much air as possible from the container.
  • Label the bag with the date you placed it in the freezer.
